Oleksandr Komarov

Oleksandr joined VEON* in 2013 as Chief Commercial Officer of mobile operator Beeline Kazakhstan. In 2015 was appointed CEO of ‘Beeline’ in Kazakhstan, where he led the company to solid revenue growth and the transformation from telco to digital service provider. By end of 2018, Beeline Kazakhstan has become a leader in Kazakhstan’s mobile telecom market for the first time in its twenty years history. Oleksandr was appointed CEO of Kyivstar in July 2018 with a mission to reinforce Kyivstar’s position as the leading provider of connectivity and internet services in Ukraine and transform business from telco to digital.

Oleksandr graduated from Graduate of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and has MBA degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
