Tomas Petru has 30 years of experience in IT and technology, with the last 15 years focused on cybersecurity, data security, and defense. His expertise spans critical infrastructure protection, network segmentation, and isolation strategies, helping organizations reduce attack surfaces and enhance resilience in high-risk environments.

With a degree in Electronics and Computer Science, Tomas combines technical depth with international business experience, having worked across 100+ countries. He has advised governments, defense organizations, and critical infrastructure operators on secure digital infrastructure, risk mitigation, and operational resilience.

As NATO Lead for Goldilock in Ukraine and CEE, he is involved in CWIX 2025, NATO’s coalition-wide interoperability exercise, where Goldilock’s remote physical disconnection technology is being evaluated for military and national security applications. His work also includes advancing cybersecurity strategies for defense and critical industries across Central and Eastern Europe.

Tomas is actively engaged in cyber resilience initiatives in Ukraine, contributing to cybersecurity and defense technology advancements in complex operational environments.

At Cyber Resilience Forum Kyiv, he will speak on Defense-in-Depth, Segmentation & Isolation, discussing practical approaches to protecting national security assets from evolving cyber threats.
