Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum (KICRF) is the leading annual flagship cybersecurity gathering in Ukraine.
This year’s forum will be the third event and will consolidate the position of a global expert-driven conference that develops the country as an international center for cyber resilience and cybersecurity.
The Forum platform attracts world-renowned leaders, influential politicians and government officials, representatives of business, industry, critical infrastructure, the financial sector, defense forces, think tanks, startups, and media.
KICRF’s mission is to foster enduring partnerships between Ukraine and Allies, driving cybersecurity innovation, and fortifying defence and protection capabilities for the public and private sectors. This is achieved by bringing together governments, corporations, investors, major companies, independent experts, startups, think tanks, and academia to collectively address contemporary cyber threats and share the latest cutting-edge solutions, practices, and trends.
The Forum's primary goal is to strengthen the cyber domain for Ukraine and the Allies through cyber resilience based on the experience and knowledge gained during cyber warfare, by strengthening international cooperation and synergy with global players in the public and private sectors.
The two-day event includes a variety of formats: keynote speeches, blitz interviews, panel discussions, product presentations, reports, analytical studies, startup pitches, workshops, an exhibition area and ample networking opportunities.
The forum will traditionally host the country's main CTF - a competition for cybersecurity professionals from the public and private sectors and a Bug Bash. The CTF aims to improve the skills of specialists to obtain the necessary qualifications, strengthen the work of cyber forces, performing tasks developed on the basis of real cybersecurity incidents, taking into account the challenges that Ukraine faces during the wartime.
KICRF is an invite-only event with preselected guests. It gathers influential attendees, including government officials, business leaders, military representatives, diplomats, journalists, and niche experts from Ukraine and the world, creating a platform for discussions, exchange of experiences, and discussion of joint plans.
KICRF was initiated in 2023 by the National Cybersecurity Coordination Center under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Civilian Research and Development Foundation (CRDF) Global, supported by the U.S. Department of State. KICRF was joined by the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Technological partners was Cyber Unit Technologies, which became the managing partner/owner of the annual conference in March 2024.
