Call for papers KICRF 2025
KICRF 2025 is pleased to announce an open call for original research papers that offer technical, legal, strategic, policy, and operational insights on future cyber-related developments.
Kyiv International Cyber Resilience Forum (KICRF) is an annual flagship cybersecurity gathering in Ukraine. The 2nd iteration of KICRF will take place on 19-20 February (TBC) 2025 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
KICRF 2025 is pleased to announce an open call for original research papers that offer technical, legal, strategic, policy, and operational insights on future cyber-related developments.
Procedure
The conference’s main topic is cyber resilience (including such topics as Corporate Innovation, Policymakers, Countering Disinformation, AI & Quantum, Defense Tech, etc). When submitting, authors must specify the track their paper is intended for. If you are unsure about which track would best suit your paper, please contact the KICRF 2025 Programme Committee in advance.
Authors should submit an abstract of 200 to 300 words describing the paper’s topic and setting out the main points and conclusions. It is crucial to include the expected conclusions so that the Programme Committee can best judge from the abstracts which papers are the most promising. Abstracts that describe only the problems that the paper addresses will not be accepted.
After a preliminary review, the authors whose abstracts have been accepted will be invited to submit full papers. Only original research papers that have not been previously published will be admitted for review.
The full submissions should be between 4,000 and 6,000 words, including abstract, footnotes, captions, and references. Papers exceeding this word count by more than 10% will be considered only with KICRF’s prior consent. Authors are encouraged to develop their argumentation and discussion as well as the presentation of their data. Submissions will be subject to a double-blind review in accordance with IEEE procedures.
Accepted papers accepted for publication will be subject to proofreading and typesetting. Authors will be given the opportunity to review and comment and accept papers, both after proofreading and after typesetting. Authors acknowledge that a statement of copyright transfer has to be signed by all authors in order for the papers to be published in KICRF 2025 conference proceedings.
Authors acknowledge that one author from each paper accepted for publication in the KICRF 2025 conference proceedings will be required to give a corresponding presentation at the KICRF 2025 conference. This author will benefit from the Speaker Support Package, which includes KICRF 2025 registration, accommodation, and economy-class travel. Please note that all presentations will be recorded in audio-only or audio/video formats. Presentations will also be photographed for promotional and archival purposes, and the recordings and photos may be published on our website, printed, posted on social media, or included in press releases. Recording consent must be given as part of KICRF 2025 registration.
