Associate Chief Cybersecurity and Operational Officer (COO), ENISA
Florian Pennings joined the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), in September 2024 as Associate COO to help the Agency achieve further impact, further develop its network, and assist in the implementation of the Single Programming Document focusing actively on its stakeholders within the existing statutory bodies such as the ECCG, SCCG and ECCC Governance Board.
Before joining the Agency, he worked as Director for EU Cybersecurity Policy at Microsoft, in national and European government cyber and security agencies. He strategically coordinates impactful cooperation between industry and public stakeholders, supports the Agency concerning its public engagement and communication, and coordinates the Agency’s activities regarding the new mandate.
