From 2015 to 2017, he was a combat participant, taking part in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) and the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). He was awarded the Presidential Distinction of Ukraine “For Participation in the ATO” and the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine badge “For Achievements in Military Service” (2nd degree).
