Scientific interest in research projects is focused on strategic risk-oriented analysis of hybrid threats, cybersecurity, cyber resilience, and critical infrastructure resilience. Together with the cyber police department of the National Police of Ukraine, he implements the EUROPOL IOCTA (Internet Organised Crime Threat Assessment) methodology, supplementing it with risk assessment and forecasting, identification of cyber police capabilities and cybersecurity system vulnerabilities.
